Appeal by electronic means
With the introduction of electronic legal transactions, the THI opens up the possibility, in addition to the traditional postal and communication channels, to electronically transmit documents that previously had to be printed out and signed, while achieving the same legally binding effect. The prerequisite for this is that the transmission is made in a specific manner that meets the legal requirements of the written form substitute. Currently, only the following electronic access is available for this purpose:
Sending a signed electronic document using the mode of transmission pursuant to Section 5 (5) of the De-Mail Act, under which the sender is securely registered within the meaning of Section 4 (1) sentence 2 of the De-Mail Act, to the following De-Mail address:
