Collaboration with the TTZ
As the Technology Transfer Center (TTZ) for Unmanned Flight Systems, we combine the scientific expertise of AImotion Bavaria at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt (THI) with cutting-edge developments in Unmanned Aviation Technologies and Urban Air Mobility.
Our state-of-the-art research infrastructure, interdisciplinary team and strong ties to industry create an environment where new technologies are not only conceived, but also brought to life.
Working closely with partners such as Airbus, MBDA, Quantum Systems and innovative Start-Ups, we develop practical solutions for the future of mobility.
Our activities are divided into four main areas:
✔ Research projects
We participate in national and European funded projects, both as a coordinating institution and as a scientific partner. The focus is on the joint development of innovative concepts and technologies - from basic research to practical application.
✔ Contract research & technology transfer
In close cooperation with industrial partners, we address specific research questions and develop prototype solutions. The focus is on applied research in areas such as flight control, multi-UAV coordination and human-machine interaction.
✔ Consulting
We also offer our expertise in a consulting capacity - whether it's designing technical concepts, assessing regulatory issues or developing strategic roadmaps in the field of UAVs and urban air mobility.
✔ Theses
As part of our integration with THI, we supervise theses with a strong practical focus and enable students to actively participate in ongoing research projects. In this way, we promote early transfer between academic education and industrial application.
Collaboration Opportunities
We offer a broad spectrum of collaboration options, ranging from short-term initiatives to long-term strategic partnerships. Whether you're interested in joint research, prototype development, or knowledge exchange, we are open to exploring tailored solutions that align with your goals.
